Coral Portfolio was established as a brand in 2008 by a group of experienced industry professionals. It aims to provide a platform of transparent, regulated Funds which match or exceed the expectations of their institutional investors. The Funds are actively managed by Coral S.à.r.l. with careful attention to risk management and highest standards of service delivery. Lawrence Frampton
Lawrence Frampton has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry working for both UK and international financial institutions, latterly based in Hong Kong as Director of Far East operations for Scottish Provident. He returned to the UK in 2001 joining three other fund specialists to launch an independent fund management group that now has over $1 billion under management.
Lawrence is a founding trustee of The Fund Aid Foundation, which is a charitable foundation dedicated to raising money from investment companies to support children's charities.
John Kennedy
John Kennedy has 25 years experience in the financial services industry. Based for many years in the City of London, he has held senior sales and marketing roles with UK Life Assurance companies such as Life Association of Scotland, Target Life Assurance and Britannia Life.
In February 1996 he set up as an independent fund distributor. There was a gap in the offshore market to introduce third party fund management to life company products. His distribution focus has always been IFAs and professional intermediaries. His principal work was with the Brandeaux Group where he established and developed their global institutional client base from their inception in 1996 until 2007. The Brandeaux Group is an institutional property investment management firm specialising in UK student accommodation and freehold ground rents.
In 2007, he became a founding trustee and Chair of the Fund Aid Foundation, a UK registered charity designed to utilise this experience to the benefit of worthy causes.
Robert Mac Donnell
Roberts primary responsibility will be to oversee all financial control activities of the Fund. Robert was previously a Director of the Brandeaux Funds and Brandeaux Managers. He was also Managing Director of Brandeaux Administrators in Dublin where he was responsible for the administration of numerous real estate funds with over 1 billion under administration.
He also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dublin, Invesco in London, FM Trust in Switzerland and JP Morgan Chase in Dublin. Robert is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants.
Stéphane Weyders
Mr Stéphane Weyders holds a degree in business and economics from HEC in Liège (Belgium) and is a certified public accountant in Luxembourg and Belgium. After eight years of professional experience with major audit firms, Mr Weyders set up his own audit firm in August 2002 and the trust company TASL PSF S.A. (formerly T.A.S.L., Trust and Accounting Services Luxembourg, S.à r.l.) in June 2003 of which he is the managing partner. This company provides services in the domiciliation and management of companies, audit, tax and VAT. Additionally, Mr Weyders is director for several Luxembourg companies.
Steve van den Broek
Mr Steve van den Broek has worked for over 10 years in the Luxembourg financial industry and is a Director at TASL PSF S.A., a Luxembourg trust company that focuses on company management, financial engineering and fund structures.Within TASL PSF S.A. Mr van den Broek is responsible for compliance with CSSF regulations, Risk Management and AML. TASL PSF S.A. is recognised by the CSSF as a Professional of the Financial Sector. Mr van den Broek is also a member of the ALCO (Luxembourg association of compliance officers). Mr van den Broek worked previously for ING Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. and Société Générale Bank & Trust.
